Trained under the guidance and supervision of noted artist and graduate of the Rome Academy, Pir Tareen, she brings a fresh approach to her subjects.

She favours a Classical approach, drawing inspiration from the great Caravaggio and other Classical painters, but with modern themes and subjects; a little like a Shakespearean play set in modern times.

So her work reinterprets classicism and places it firmly in the modern idiom, bringing it to life with an immediacy and a freshness, but always faithful to its Classical roots.

The effect of this is sometimes startling and is often provocative, for she is no shrinking violet, but takes the viewer head on into an exciting phantasmagoria of artistic landscape which is at the same time soothing and disturbing.
